GIP Germany was founded in 2017 in Berlin, Germany. Before it was officially established, GIP was only a place for non-profit learning and teaching in preparation for the Studienkolleg entrance test in Germany (Studienkolleg is a preparatory course of first year program for academic studies at university for students whose secondary school certificate is not recognized as equivalent to the Abitur.
